Description
This meter measures both total dissolved solids, reported in parts per million (ppm), and electrical conductivity, reported in microsiemens. Total dissolved solids tells you how much is dissolved in the water; conductivity is a related reading of how well the water carries an electric current, which growers and aquarium keepers watch as well as filtration buyers. Having both on one meter saves carrying two, so it suits someone who wants a fuller picture than a plain TDS pen gives. It sits above the single-reading TDS-3 on price and below the bench meter.
